Celebrating our rich heritage and community bonds

Join us for our annual gathering where we celebrate our culture, share food, music, and create memories together as a community. Browse through our gallery to see highlights from our events.

Rooted in Culture,United In Diaspora

The Indigenes of Osun in Canada (IOIC) is a sociocultural association that brings together Osun indigenes living in Canada to celebrate and preserve our rich heritage. We are more than just a community—we are a network of people united by shared values, traditions, and the Yoruba language, which remains at the heart of our identity.

Our purpose is to strengthen bonds among members in the diaspora while channeling collective efforts to positively impact our communities in Canada and Osun State, Nigeria. Through cooperation, cultural engagement, and shared resources, IOIC has become a rallying point where indigenes come together to support one another, foster unity, and give back to society.

To nurture an egalitarian society where equality, mutual respect, and individual contributions are recognized and valued.

To drive the socio-economic growth of members and give back to the less privileged in Canada and Osun State.
